These playing cards are a visual allegory of Dante's vision of the upper part of hell, Dite, burning in flame. The cards are imprinted with this firey evil in the form of a circle of fire on the back of every card. The court cards depict characters from the poem the Dante and Virgilio meets during their descent, and the Jokers depict Virgilio and Dante at the gates of Hell.
The cards are printed by LPCC with a Classic Finish. The tuck case is custom, embossed and adorned with foil, all on Fedigoni Materica paper.
